Can 997.2 front diff be used on a 997.1?

Hi,

Regarding the PET i have Access to, my 997.1 TT 2007 front diff have this part # 997 349 020 50. The one I have found have this # 997 349 020 51 and the seller claims it is removed from a 997.1 3.6 480 HP. He have no VIN to give me... What I have found, is that the front diff he have for sale, is from a 997.2... Anyone knows if it will fit and can be used with my car?

I have also found that both 997.1 and 997.2 driveshaft flanges have the same part #, which is a good start:)
