Hello,

my cayenne 92a diesel has some problems with «chassis system failure» error message. The airsuspension wont lift front left suspension at all, Its below loading level.

(The problem came with the winter time, was down to -15Celcius over several days)

This is what i have tried:

1.Warm up the garage to 30+C and let it there for a week.

2. Check the airsuspension for holes or rifts.

3. Check that the compressor runs when it shall.

4. Change fuse.

5. Checked the wireing and connection to the electronic. Was all good.

any advise on the subject?

Kind og frustrating.

Hello Andre,

I too had a very similar problem with my 2011 Cayenne S V-8.

My wife was driving when she saw a red warning message "Suspension System Defective", and the front suspension was very low - just like you described.

Had it towed to the dealer, and they ended up changing a defective........... Cylinder Ignition Coil?

That was in January - haven't seen that issue show up since. Who would have thought that the malfunctioning coil was causing enough EMI to produce that type of failure???? Not me.

Maybe something similar on yours?

Chassis system Failure happens when it's cold. It's a known issue and there is no fix.  It will go away when it warms up.  Simple as that.

When mine failed (at the dealer coincidentally) during a very cold spell they replaced these components: 999-607-073-00 Fuse 40A & 955-615-010-01 relay. Prior to this "failure" at the dealer I had one instance of chassis system failure that went away during a warmer day. I was not driving the car much at this time FYI. Did not have an issue after the relay & fuse replacement.
