Hi guys. My car wont crank and i dont know why.

On the start lock relay there is no permission signal from the ECU. Directly starter will cranks and engine work.

I have fault code on bracke switch, but brake light work. And driver seat airbag.

It is always helpful if you give the exact model and year of your car.

911 (996) turbo 2002

Have you checked the clutch start interlock microswitch? You can just unplug it and short the two wires together and try again.

yes, PIWIS shows that clutch switch work

The ignition switch is a fairly common fault, I believe. It's an easy fix and comparatively cheap - especially the corresponding Audi part.

Incidentally, RoW cars don't have a clutch interlock switch to the best of my knowledge and you appear to be in/from Belarus. Is your car a N. America spec?

the signal comes from the ignition switch. Signal is not coming from d33 pin ecu

Have you checked the wiring from pin D33 all the way to the start lock relay and make sure it's not broken or shorted?

You said "Directly starter will cranks and engine work." Sounds like if you hot wire the starter, the engine does fire up? If the DME is immobilizing the car, it will NOT turn on the fuel pump (in addition to NOT activating the start lock relay) so the engine should not have fired up. If true, it sounds like you have a break in wire from D33.

If the engine doesn't fire up even you make the starter turn, that sounds like the DME is immobilizing the car. Have you tried another key and is the immobilizer pill securely installed inside the key fob?

  • wiring to d33 checked. another keys are located in germany:biggrin:. before now car started, but sometimes such symptoms also appeared

Have you opened up the key fob and check if the pill is secured? The next suspect would be the immobilizer ring signal pickup/circuit.

The car does belong to you, right?

If so, why don't you get whoever has the other key in Germany to DHL it to you. Then you move on to the more complex and expensive attempts to fix.
