Sometimes when I turn my wheel all the way to the left to make a U turn a high pitch metal rubbing on metal type of noise comes out from the left front of the car. It can happen in the morning or at night, wet or dry. I don't know if there is a pattern to it. I've taken it to several dealerships and no one can figure out what it is because it is not always reproducible. A dealership in Atlanta bevelled my front brake pad because they thought it was due to the pads rubbing against the rotors in extreme left turn. But the noise is still there and now I have a longer stopping distance. Does anyone know what could be wrong with it? I have a 2004 Boxster S with stock suspension. Thanks in advance.
