CTEK 3300 blinking lights

Just bought a CTEK with cigarette lighter adapter for my '03 996 Cab. After everything is hooked up I am getting a rapid blinking yellow/orange light above the "half full battery" and a solid green light above the "full battery" picture. Is this normal? Anyone out there who can help it is greatly appreciated.

Usually, a blinking light means that the 3 amp fuse in the line to the battery has blown.  Pull it and check it.

Thanks JFP. I took a look at the fuses and did not see one that was a 3 amp fuse. I also looked at the fuse assignment list and didn't see anything related to the battery. Any guidance?

Also make sure your cigar lighter fuse is good - on your car fuse D5 (15A).

How do you have the Ctek connected to the car?  The Ctek cable that connects directly to the battery has a fuse in the positive wire.  If you are using the lighter plug, there is a fuse inside that plug.

JFP...I'm using the lighter plug.  I checked that fuse and it is fine.

I would then call Ctek.  The unit may have an internal fault, but Ctek is very good about their warranties.
