As the title states, yes that's me! I want to say that this is a wonderful site!

In My 2,000 ish Miles from February to this time I have discovered what a sports car is!!

I have experienced:

The car being stolen within 6 hours of paying for it at the dealer. Good thing I kept the satellite tracking, car was found before it made it to the chop shop.

Having the water consul coming apart while car was stolen so it was resealed and pinned.

getting 2 new keys out of the deal for free since I had not taken delivery of the car before it was boosted.

loosing the glass off of the starboard mirror on the trip home when I finally picked up the fine motoring machine!

avoiding a vehicle in the left lane swerving into me who was avoiding a left turning vehicle on the maiden voyage home

realizing that the car will go around rounda-abouts way faster than I can stay in the seat!!!

Speedythe 996 T car Handles like no car I have ever had!

Driving a car that has a traction control that has saved my bacon when I was told by friends that they wanted to hear the turbos spool up, that is 25 degree F temp one probably should not stomp the go pedal on cold pavement and on cold tires, (the engine had some heat in it a I had arrived there a couple of hours before) and hit 91 MPH in 2.2 tenths of mile and feel the rearend getting squirrly at around 70 MPH and not letting off the go pedal!

that I need more skooling on using the display, but Ima getting some hang of it!

Loosing the radiator hose with the plastic that resides above the starboard front wheel and having to get rescued! WTF were they thinking. why not an aluminium t and good hose clamps!!! The plastic collar let loose.

Many fun miles of driving!

after letting the car warming up at around 2,000 rpm driving, arriving at the stop light and verifing all clear all around me, stomping on the go pedal and making a right turn on to the 4 lane with the air conditioner blasting and tires squealing and running up to a quick 80 MPH, I get my first check engine light and display notification to have it checked and my immediate "OH $hit"

That I am experiencing the wonderful serpentine belt chirp as well!!!

That I am preparing a nice abode for speedythe996Tcar with a nice cement floor so I can sit and ponder and start with changing that belt and play with my new, yet un-purchased obd scanner I will aquire in the near future.

Good thing Kelly MOss and Cory Gehling are close by as well as BTRacing and a few other experts on these cars.

HI All!

Happy Motoring!

Welcome aboard! Owning a Pcar mirrors life (by the way i lost and replaced a side mirror as well). There are highs and lows both of which I've experienced. Overall nothing beats the feeling of driving balls out on my favorite back road. Live, love, and enjoy.
