In my continuing quest of figuring out my alarm double beep issue, I'm trying to determine whether my trunk release solenoid is acting up. Does anyone know what the correct resistance should be across its pins? I'm getting about 4.7 Ohms.

Replaced the solenoid. New one has a higher resistance but does not solve my double beep/no central locking issue.

Thanks Loren. Yes I've gone through the troubleshooting steps in the workshop manual for the alarm codes, and everything checks out. So perhaps the alarm control module has a problem even though it looks fine and there are no signs of water incursion.
