Hi, Just wanted to ask, Does the 997.1 GT3 have cooling fans on both sides of the front bumper... I read somewhere that there is only one in the right or passenger side.  I also hear only one fan... Please help

Welcome to RennTech.

The car should have fans on both sides, so one fan may not be working.  Using a Porsche diagnostic scanner, you can test activate the fans to check them..

It is always helpful if you tell us the exact model and year of your car.

The 997.1 GT3 has 3 radiators. Two large ones in each fender well that have electric cooling fans. The third radiator is in the center of the front bumper and does not have a fan.

Follow JFP's advice if you believe one of the fans is not working.

Ok will use the Duranetrc Cable. Water temp is fine and keeps steady at 80C even after running hard.

The '04 and '05 996 GT3 did come with only one fan on one side.  That may be what the OP had read.
