hi,

i just bought a 2002 boxster s this past weekend and was curious what the average lifespan in miles were?

i've always had japanese cars and i know they can last 150-200k easily with minimal work.

this is my first porsche. what kind of mileage can i expect to reach? is 120-150k realistic?

Congratulation on your purchase.

Well, mine is a 97 and it has 80K miles plus. I think 150k mile plus is reachable or even more if you are maintaining the car properly.

As far as minimal work, the boxster is considered to be the one comparing to the other models.

Just enjoy the ride :-)

My son has a 2001 Boxster S with 135,000 miles. The car has given no trouble except for a coolant tank replacement.

Good luck with your toy.
