Hello all, I am a new/used Porsche Boxster owner. I have a 1997 Boxster and having issues operating the windshield wipers. I cannot get the wiper lever to mechanically go up or down in order to operate the windshield wipers. When I activate the wiper fluid, the wipers do not work. No sound from the wiper motor, no movement at all from the blades, nothing. Is the wiper lever supposed to go up and down? If not, what am I doing wrong?

From,

The FNG

Thanks, JFP, but the fuses are good. And I'm not sure a fuse will mechanically prevent the lever from going up or down as mentioned in my original post. Any thoughts on what might do that?

Probably the mechanical switch in the column itself.  If that has failed, you might consider getting the four stalk system from a wreck and then activating both the OBC and cruise if your car didn't have them from the factory.
