When I bought my 02 C4S The stock lip spoiler had a couple bad scrapes. I found a lip spoiler from an 04 TT. Will it bolt onto my C4S? Do you have to get new mounting hardware, if it will, or can you use your old hardware? If it can be, is it hard to do yourself?

Thanx

Jim

Interesting enough the bumpers themselves are the same part number but the spoiler lips are different part numbers. I'll have to look closer at them side by side sometime. Perhaps the TT spoiler is a little longer?

The u-clips can be reused if you don't bend them taking them off.

If you are refering to the chin spoilers (that attach below the bumper).......they are interchangable..........many Turbo owners w/lowered suspensions go to the C4S for a little more clearance (Turbo chin is a tad lower, especially out at the point of the nose).

Is it hard to replace yourself? Does any one have DIY instructions?

Jim  :)

Remember if you've ever scraped your current C4s chin......you def will scrape the OE Turbo.

2 simple screws inside ea wheel well...........turn your wheel to the left and unscrew right, to the right and unscrew left.......pull off.

Install by snapping in center at bumber nose & wkg right & left till you get to the screws.

BTW.....IMHO 'downforce' is a negligable dif sub 165.
