I read some place that the navigation system and the music CD system cannot be used at the same time. Now that the navigation system is DVD driven and one can have the 6 pack CD system is that still true? Can the NAVI work while music is playing from a CD (or SAT radio for that matter)?

I will be ordering my 2006 CTT soon and was wondering if the 6 CD Changer is worth ordering. Any comments on the 6 pack CD player? Thanks for your help. JW3 :help:

Started 2005, the DVD navigation has its own separate drive under the front passenger seat. You don't have to swap your music cd with the dvd navigation cd anymore. If you are going to order the 2006, you don't have to worry about this. Plus, the 2006 can play mp3 data files as well.

If you get the 06 that plays MP3 CD's I would only get the changer if the capacity of 1 CD of say 300 songs is not enough. I would fisrt make sure that the changer can also read MP3 CD's.

I got the changer and never use it, iPod and Sirius provide me with a much better experience.

Can someone tell me what the strange little face means on the original post?
