2005 Cayenne S with black interior.

The lighter socket no longer pops up when the ashtray draw opens.  Seems like something is broken underneath the lighter socket. Do I need the whole tray with light socket assembly? or a smaller part to fix it .  Thank you for any help.

I had the same problem and simply pulled it up because the issue was it was caught with the lower part of the holder. You may need to use a small screwdriver to pry it out and get it unstuck!

I took the assembly apart and found there is a pivot knob on the right side of the tray was broken off.  Luckily I found the piece and used some strong glue to hold them back together.  I searched and found this a common problem and Porsche doesn't sell the part, only the whole assembly for few hundred dollars .
