Hi All:

I went to program the Homelink buttons on my "new" 2006 Boxster yesterday and noticed that the LED was not doing it's blinking thing when I did the delete code reset.  Any ideas?

Thanks!

I have deleted your two other duplicate posts.

Start with fuse F2 (80A) (on the current distributor).

Remove the panel under the passenger side dash to expose the power distributor panel.

F2 is labeled and the is the 2nd one in from the left.

Be sure to remove it from the circuit and test with an ohm meter.

Sorry for multiple questions - I have removed the cover from the footwell - Is the power distribution panel on the front wall (black box that is closed). Assume you need to open this box using the tabs and the fuses will be visible...

How is the power distribution box attached to the firewall?   Can it be pulled down somehow?  It is jammed up behind what looks like the air vent box?

Sorry for all these questions......

It is mounted to the firewall and   actually penetrates the firewall to access the battery cable.  It cannot easily be pulled down without disconnecting several things.

With difficulty.  You should not be working in this area with the battery connected.  If you cannot get a small tool in and pop the fuse out, your other option is to drop the heater box out of the way.

I checked and my heated seats led also does not light so exactly same problem. Will try my luck this weekend in trying to find and pull fuse. If I can  get fuse out is it a simple replacement with a new fuse ? anyone know ?

Mark, what did you finally do to rectify the problem, take into to shop ? How much ?

Sorry for all the questions
