I have been trying to resolve the side mirror puddle light issue for several weeks with no luck. I even ordered new lights and replaced the old ones with no luck. Everything else as far as the headlights, side lights, license plate lights works as they should when I lock or unlock the car so I am stuck. I have checked fuses, tested it at night so it is not a sensor issue, comfort settings are checked but I don't see any settings specific to mirtor lights though. I have read somewhere that the puddle lights have to be programmed to work via PIWIS at a dealership. If that is the case, I was wondering if the Durametric enthusiast or pro would work for that purpose...may be cheaper in the long run to do it myself and have a nice diagnostic tool out of the deal. I appreciate any advice/input.

Welcome to RennTech :welcome:

To my knowledge, the Durametric Pro system will not address this issue, you need the PIWIS.

Update - went to dealer yesterday for another issue and had them try to program the puddle lights. They said their system is not communicating with a module so they would need to diagnose further. Does anyone know what module the mirror puddle lights would be part of?  Thank you.
