Hi guys! My name is franz and im from the philippines. Recently bought my college dream car and still is, a 1997 base boxster in zenith blue metallic. Have read and done my reseach about the ims and have already ordered parts from pelican. But i cant seem to order the ims guardian. Everytime i click on the link in jake rabys page it turns up error 404. Hope you guys can help me

Jake stopped selling individual components some time ago, and only deals in engines and retrofits now.  I would check with LN Engineering: http://lnengineering.com/  for their recommendation who to contact in your area.

I think they have been in short supply in the US. You can order one from the UK at www.wrightune.co.uk

Thank you very much for the reply. I did order the dual retrofit kit from ln engineering and just wanted to be sure by installing the ims guardian. I just hope the retrofit would suffice. Again thanks!

I looked everywhere for an IMS Guardian....no one had any. But, I found a post in another forum from Jake Raby saying that Wrightune in the UK had some left. I ordered one on their website http://www.wrightune.co.uk/imsguardian.html

 

I just installed it this past week. It works like a charm. Now I finally have peace of mind.

 

The only thing is I wish the buzzer was louder.

 

Richard from Wrightune was super helpful and prompt in answering my emails and questions.
