Just bought a C2S with 85k KMs in Dubai.  took it out this morning and the water temp gauge seemed to take an age before moving off the bottom stop (60) before settling at 90.  Ambient temp was about 21 Deg C.

Is this normal behavior for this car?  It seemed unusual for the water to take so long to register on the gauge.  Coolant level looks fine, no other indications.

Thanks

Ok- face redder than a red thing who was looking at a red sun all day - the gauge I was looking at was the oil temp gauge - Dohhh.

So then the question becomes - how long before the oil comes to normal temp with "normal driving"

Thanks
