I have read through posts for weeks on this and have tried everything. Low beam still not working.  I can hear the level motor but the light doesn't come on

I have switched ballasts=same result

I have switched d1s light = same result

Have replaced with NEW d1s bulbs= same result

I have replaced the harness behind the headlight=same result

I have taken the whole unit out and plugged into the passenger side and the complete light worked

I have check the low beam fuses=fine

both turning lamps do not work but haven't changed bulbs yet

What else could it be?

Thanks for any help

:welcome:

There is a front end electrical control module that controls all of the lights. You may need to get it re-programmed.

It is not unusual for these control modules to lose some or all of their memory/programming during a battery change or other electrical anomalies.

In most cases a simple reprogramming using a Porsche diagnostic tool (PIWIS) will correct the problem(s).

Then why would the complete light work when plugged into the passenger side and vice versa the passenger side Headlight has the same effects (only high beam works ) when plugged into drivers side?  make sense? sorry so many questions

Okay - so the headlight works you proved that by swapping with the opposite site.

You changed out the wiring harness - so that should be good.

What you have not done is re-programmed the computer module that turns each of those lights on - individually.

Unless there is another break the wiring then it is likely a control module issue.
