I checked all the wiers, nothing wrong there.

Nr 7 says replace tiptronic Control module.

Can i try it in another car that is identical, or must it be programmed to the car?

It would need to be another Tiptronic 996 MY2002 to MY2005.

Did you use Durametric or a Porsche diagnostic tool?

Do you have any other codes?

What are the car's symptoms?

The car is identical 996 MY 2002 tiptronic, can i swap control module without program it with the orginal Porsche tool?

I used durametric diagnostic tool.

I have code 1702 on the Engine

Code 10. 38. 39. 40 on the tiptronic

The tiptronic is in limp home modus. And it is flashing between D and 4 gear.

I know is an old thread but, how did you fix your issue?
