DIY GUIDE: 996 Instrument Cluster Led Color Change...

Recommended Posts

First of all; thanks to "TabooPc" for the idea...(From another forum...)

My car is 1998 Carrera2...
Instead of his cluster; mine is older and has previous technology I guess.
My inst. cluster is feeding with Halogen Bulb instead of his gauge.
So when I changed these bulbs; it was completed. (Because of his post; I bought 100 pcs of leds )

As an extra; I changed all the switches and the others led's from Amber to White. Conclusion is very good for me; total 36 hours of works.
(I removed the gauges, speed, rpm, fuel etc; then I missed to put sign so I spent 4-5 hours to fix them )

Here is pics; if you need info; you can ask me...
