Tranzlt BLU install question

The DIY I found had you splicing into a brown and white wire for the harness.  I have the brown but no white.  I used the thin yellow wire next to the brown one instead.  It was the harness with the large brown, thin yellow and large red with green stripe wires.  Is that the correct wire to splice?  I tried playing my iPod and nothing, do I need a CD changer to use the Tranzlt BLU HF?  I did my research and don't remember needing a CD changer to use it.  Any help will be appreciated, still using the google to research the issue also.  Thanks

I installed a Tranzlt BLU in my 2005 C2S that has the Nav system and PCM 2.1. This picture is just how my car was (the picture is from ilko on Rennlist - thank you ilko).

The yellow wire was the correct wire. Got it working, just have to figure out why its not that loud. Thanks

I get the same thing.  I have to turn up the volume quite a bit with my tranzit.
