I got a hold of some 996 wheels. Turbo Look with a 65 offset.

I need help. I have a couple of questions.

1. Has anyone used these on a 986 (MY 1997)?

2. What spacer was used?

It seems I need a 20 mm spacers which makes me think that the wheel will be outside of the wheel well.... :( :help: :help:

986 2.5L MY1997

65 offset? That is for a narrow body 996. You should running a 47 offset on a 986. It's like having you stock wheels (47) and adding a 18mm spacer! Outside the fender is what you will get.

It is the other way. You will have to ADD a 20-25mm spacer to get these to fit. I am assuming that this is an 18x10 wheel that you are trying to fit on the rear.

Yes. It is a 18x10 and yes it looks like 21mm minimum. But has anyone done this? what are the downsides? (car is not driven on the track, just street).
