Hello again.

I have a broken PCM 2.1 in my turbo (2005)which i need to give to repair.

In the meantime i install the old PCM 2 from my cayenne s into the turbo.

The connections seam almost the same. Except this unit has a additional blue fakra GPS / SAT plug.

Radio working.

CD working

Navi is starting but it cant find my current location. No GPS Signal!?

I bought a GPS Antenna from ebay. Connect it with the blue connection at the backside if the unit but still no signal. Can somebody help please. Thank you

It does take a long time (20 minutes or so) of continuous outside operation before it builds up its almanac of satellites and starts working.

Does it show the number of satellites in the display?

Richard i operate already hours. Driving arround. Nothing. It isnt showing any satellite. Thats why i thought maybe the antenna is the wrong one.

Apologies to hijack this thread,

I bought an '03 Cayenne recently and have been trying in vain to get the SatNav to work.

It is a PCM 2.0 unit with S/W version 3.0

On the status screen it shows no satellites.

I have tried the 148 reset,

I have tried pulling fuse 11 on the right side (10A)

I have replaced the GPS antenna in the rear spoiler with a new module from Porsche.

I have tried the 148 reset again.

The second reset after changing the GPS antenna the clocks briefly changed to the correct time before reverting back to the usual 12.30 that they always start at.

Any advice on what to attempt next is greatly appreciated
