Hi all,

I bought an OBC stalk to install on my 996's steering column ... and only when I took the car apart, did I realise that it didn't come with the appropriate attaching bolts.

So two questions.

1. What bolt size attaches the OBC stalk to the column? There are two, and they are identical to the bolt that holds the grounding connector on the steering wheel (fortunately, I'm switching steering wheels, so I cannibalised one bolt from there, but would like two). I feel like it's M5x20, but I have no basis for this statement. I am talking about the bolt about 2cm diagonal to the left of the finger in this picture:

2. Which connector do I tap into for the OBC wiring? I have the harness, and I have the pre-facelift (old) cluster. I re-read Pelican a few times, but for some reason, they never actually say which of the three connectors to tap into, or I'm reading wrong. Help appreciated.

Thanks!

Reads like you mean these screws (it's only a bolt when you put a nut on it) ... which look like M4X12 to me.  Looks also like a little longer wouldn't hurt.

Yep, that's exactly the screw (oops on the 'bolt' part, hehe). So maybe M4x15?
