Hello, I have browsed this forum for a long time but have just now made an account. I am installing a Pioneer DEH-X6700BT in place of the CDR-220 that was previously in my 2000 Boxster. I have all of the wiring set up correctly (I tested it without installing it and everything works fine), but for some reason the sleeve that came with the new head unit will not fit in to the shelf. It is just about a millimeter too wide to fit. I have attached a couple of photos to illustrate what I am trying to say. Thank you for any and all help.

Hello to everyone reading this,

I hate it when I see an old forum post where the person just said they got it working, so I'll tell you what I did. I had to bend the new sleeve quite a bit to get it to fit in, and once it fit I just straightened everything back out so the head unit would fit inside.
