I have an intersection with a stop sign about 100 yards from my driveway.  Pretty much every time I pull away from the stop, there is a little hesitation.  Just that one, then everything is fine.  Weather or hot/cold temp doesn't seem to matter.  I'm in CA, so "cold" for me is 40 degrees.

Guys, thanks for the response and sorry for the delay- traveling for the past week.  I have not changed the fluid in the gearbox for the 1.5 years I have owned it and I am guessing it was not changed prior.  Would this create this first gear hesitation to 2000 RPMs?  Per Highlander, it is just momentary, but consistent with almost each start.

Sounds good.  Also be absolutely sure to use the OEM oil and only the OEM oil.  If you have this done at a Porsche dealer that's what they will use, but even some good indy's need to be instructed.  Gearbox oil that is widely accepted elsewhere in the racing world (Redline, Royal Purple, etc) are huge no-no's in these cars.  How do I know?  Because it cost me a gearbox.
