I called Sunset Porsche and they don't carry the B&M. The Porsche SSK is $419.00. I think I will give Brandywine a try later. I recall that the B&M have something call the EVO kit that has the metal bracket or something in the base instead of plastic. Could someone clarify this? Thanks.

Harry, have you installed yours yet?

Brandywine selling the B&M for $229.00 & $359.00 with the Evo Linkage. I am thinking should I get it from Brandywine or the place you bought.

Hi Guys,

Installed my SSK this past weekend and the instructions and advice posted here were great.

I think i might have set a record for coldest driveway install (it was about 12 degrees).

Everything went smoothly except for a broken clip on the plastic piece covering the parking brake.

Now that i've driven with it for a week, i've noticed some play from front to back and i think the set screw could use some turning.

Does anyone know if it's accessible without removing the entire console again?

Thanks in advance,

Bryan

I would buy one at a price below 200 dollars.

HarryR C2 1999

I found one on ebay for $100.00 new in box, but it came with no instructions or the grease needed.

The intstructions are posted here in the first page of this thread. The grease is just white Lubriplate grease. The kit normally comes with a tube that is enough to do about 5 shifter installs
