Hey guys,

Back in April (2015) I posted about a black 03 GT2 that was going to be auctioned in Barret Jackson. It went for $82,500 as some of you know.

Link to that old thread: http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic/48291-gt2-on-barrett-jackson-todaylive-on-discovery-ch/#entry266406

Well now a very similar (at first I thought it was the same car with it's original wheels swapped back on, but the VIN's are not the same) black 2003 GT2 will be auctioned by Auctions America on July 18. They are estimating $110,000 to $140,000.

Will be VERY interesting to see if this estimate is reached! Would be awesome for current 996 GT2 owners. Not so good for those looking to buy a 996 GT2 at the moment..Lol... I don't think it could possibly hurt 996TT owners since at least it is showing some respect for the platform as a whole ;)

Anyway, just a heads up to those that might be interested. Also, I am not in any way affiliated with either of these cars. (though I wish I was, lol).
