ABS/PSM Version on 996tt

Which version of ABS does the 99tt come with? Looking at the 996 companion it says that ABS 5.7 became standard in 2004 but I can't find model differentiation. Was the ABS software updated through the model life of the 99tt?

 

If it is the 5.7 does that mean the PSM is V5?

996 TT never got an ABS/PSM change from 2001 to 2005 - it was always ABS 5.7.

There were a number of updates to the software but the only way I know to be sure you have the latest is with a PST2 or PIWIS tester.

Just re-code it and it will automatically get the latest version.

 

BTW... none of the software updates completely fix the wheel-slip faults that some folks always get under heavy acceleration.
