I heard a beep each time  reached 77mph and got some sort of display indication (I think it said 75mph but can't be sure.) I finally figured it was the spoiler talking to me!
Now it doesn't do that.
The dealer says there should be no indication.
Is this true? What if the spoiler system has a fault? Would this give some sort of indication?

The beep is because you have the On-board computer set to let you know when you've hit a Set speed (ig. 75MPH). It's programmed with the bottom left lever. ( move up or down to see MPG, Temp, Speed indicator BEEP, remaining Gas)  Pull back or front to set. You can set any speed so you will know if you are going to fast. Has nothing to do with the rear spoiler.

hope this is helpful.

When the beep occurs the multifunction display changes and the selected speed appears within a double circle.  This multifunction display has many features including an average speed check which is useful for travelling through average speed zones on trunk roads.  It can be zeroed when passing the first camera and logs your average as you progress through the zone.
