Litronic adjustment

I asked this question on the Boxster side, and didn't get any responses, so I thought I'd try the 996 guys...

I installed the Litronic headlight upgrade with the control unit on my Boxster, and the control unit works fine (lights rotate up on high beam). As received, the headlights were pointing up at the tops of trees on low beam. My dealer adjusted them the other day, and now they seem to be OK.

I've read about the ball and socket gimbal coming loose on many when they are shipped (as mine were). If the dealer adjusted them and they rotate properly, is it safe to assume the ball and sockets are all properly connected? Is there any other way to tell if things have come loose inside?

Does anyone have pictures showing what the inside of the lights look like when the ball and socket are loose, and what they should look like?
