Hi guys,

I've been poking around the forums and google, but I cannot find a definitive answer.

I have a 2006 Cayenne with a CDR23 and Bose. I want to know if I can remove this and drop in a factory nav kit without any issues. The kit includes a factory head unit, nav module, DVD changer, and GPS antenna. It does not include any cables. I assume the Bose speakers will plug in no issue, but I don't know what cables I'll need for the nav module, DVD changer, and GPS antenna.

Has anyone done this before, know what I'll need, or if this will even work? I expect I will have to route the antenna to the rear, and I have no problem doing that. In the end, I am hoping this will be plug and play.

Well you have to check if your radio harness has all cables as same as a Cayenne with PCM [1st thing]

CDR-23 has only one black optical cable and PCM has 2 on the rear one for the NAVI DVD and the other the radio antenna [2nd thing]

You have to check under passenger seat for NAVI DVD location [3rd]...

Is the CDR23 fiber optic (MOST)?  There are two orange cables coming out of the back of the nav unit that are the start and end of the fiber loop.  Also the PCM 2.0 doesn't have video, so it doesn't have a separate dvd drive.  Might be simpler install if that's available.
