I wanted to change my original exhaust Muffler

For a sport Version which i bought long time ago.

I thought this is a DIY job but i had to stop this afternoon.

The Heavy Muffler is Hanging left and right in some

Kind of rubber mounting. Very hard to get it out.

Any idea?

Or i have to disconnect the bracket from

The body of the car?

Unbolt the mounting brackets from the car while supporting the muffler, they will then come off easily.

Thankx JFP.....

Deep seated rust. The bolts will not come of.

I need to destroy them maybe

Spray them with penetrating oil and let them sit for a bit before trying to remove them.
