I've been having increasingly more trouble starting my 2004 S and have read a lot about the ignition switch problems. I washed the car the other night when I came home the dome light wouldn't shut off. The next afternoon I walked to the car and heard a rapid clicking in the passengers door. I pulled the battery cable and went and Boughy the new ignition assembly. Changed it out, car started right up and the clicking returned. Any advice?

To me it sounds like a microswitch or regulator within the passenger door.  Search within renntech or look at the Pelican links below.

I am investigating my window not always rolling down once the door opens.

First thing, check if it is wet under the driver's seat.  That's where the alarm unit is located, which controls the door locks and interior lights.  Seems that it started after you washed the car.
