Steering angle sensor failure? Front brakes lock up....Abs/psm failure

So I pulled the code and it says Steering angle sensor failure.

From slow rolls when I turn the wheel the front brakes lock up and then psm abs failure comes on.

Should I just replace the sensor? Anyone else see or have this before??

When posting it is always helpful to give us the exact model and year of your car.

You should start by recalibrate the steering sensor  and Durametric version 6 can too this task…Of course PIWIS and PST2 also….

I would have to agree with jpflip, your first step should be to try recalibration of the steering system before spending any money.

Also make sure the connections are clean...I believe my sensor got hit once and had to be adjusted and re-calibrated.

SOLVED: Recalibrate the steering angle sensor. good to go.........I put on a new steering wheel not to long ago and never recalibrated.
