Prestone Super Radiator Stop Leak

I noticed a minor coolant leak. Well I can see some pink stain on the under carriage of the car. I doubt it is a major leak as no stain can be seen on the ground.

 

Does leak like this cause air bubbles to form? The coolant warning popped up, but is goes away a short while later. Will bleed the air bubble over the weekend via the bleeding valve.

 

Anyway, any comments on using Prestone Super Radiator Stop Leak for this?

Radiator stop leak is not a sustainable solution,on the contrary, better locate the leak and repair it. It is maybe only a loose clamp or something.

+1 on RFM's comment.  Porsche uses a coolant that is well known for "not playing well with others", so mixing in third party chemicals sometimes leading to gelation of the coolant that requires a time consuming and expensive removal process.

 

Put the car up in the air, remove the lower cover panels and find out what is leaking; then fix it.  "Stop Leak" compounds are a temporary band aid, not a repair.

Stop Leak is also awesome for stopping water pump impellers and thermostats. Please don't. Technically adding Prestone will do no harm but as mentioned, for the short term only if that's all you have available.
