oil pressure sensor

hello loren,

where is oil pressure sensor and factory fuel pressure regulator? is it hard to get to? i want to put electronic fuel pressure and oil temp gauge from HKS.

On a Boxster the regulator is on the fuel rail, drivers side. Sender is on the cam cover, passenger side. Guess you reverse for a 996. Jeff

Jeff is right the fuel pressure regulator is on the passenger side fuel rail on a Carrera.

Oil pressure sensor is on the drivers side cam cover.

also, what is the treads size on the oil pressure sensor?

Both are accessible (barely) from the top of the engine passenger side. Sorry, not enough light to get you a photo.

Would like to know how to get oil temp from the sender area.

Fuel rails I saw on ebay. Regulator is the top left.
