My Xeon bulbs are gettting dimmer so I figure they are ready to go.  They are the originals so 10 years was a great run for these bulbs!  I bought the Philips Xtreme Vision D1S which is supposed to farther, either way it will most likely be a dramatic diference with what I have now.

In doing research about how to replace bulb, I see on pg 331 of manual that they list the high beam as an additional high beam.  Does that mean the headlights get brighter and the additional just are angled higher or does the Xenon ight change positions/level for a higher angle?

On your car, the xenon low beam is a D1S, the high beam is a separate halogen H7 bulb.

When you select high beam on the Cayenne the HID bulb actually tips up via the levelling motor to become the high beam and the H7 turns on to illuminate the lower portion where the HID would on low beam.
