I am having some cold starting issues. My Cayenne often cranks more then I feel is right on start-up. I wanted to test the fuel pressure. However my fuel pressure gauge doesnt have the right adapter. I have a v6 base

I was wondering if you can see the fuel pressure in Durametric? I had gotten the impression that maybe you could based on some threads from others where they were talking about fuel pressure at certain throttle positions. However I dont see fuel pressure as a variable when I hooked my car up last night.

What year is your Cayenne? The early models tested fuel pressure via a schradder valve on the fuel rail. Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you open the drivers door? Any fault codes?

2008 v6... my doesnt seem to have the shrader valve that I have seen in others..

I would going to test it at the union in the fuel line.  Same setup as this video at the 45 second mark.  I just need the right adapter.

It hear the pump priming.  it just cranks too long, one really cold days I sometimes have to try 2-3 times to get it to start.  no fault codes.  Battery was getting near end of life, was not holding voltage very well in cases where I didnt drive it for a week..  It now cranks harder but still have an issue on the colder days

Is anyone familiar with the valve (item 2/3).     I actually changed the high pressure fuel pump a few days ago hoping that was the cold start problem.  While changing the pump I  didnt see what totally appears to be a pressure valve.  item 2/3 looks like it.   the right two connectors are low pressure but I am thinking that valve might be at high pressure..
