Brakes squeaking

Got a problem on my 2008 cayenne turbo..
I replaced my OEM rotors and pads which were done to Brembo rotors and Textar pads, they were fine couple of first days but now squeak loudly just before stopping the car. This is getting pretty annoying, I have already tried going faster then usual and breaking heavily, but they still squeak. Perhaps there might of been an installation error, and the pads are not secured c

did you apply ample grease around the touch points (not the pads to the rotor)? That could be the problem...

The change was done by a local porsche service. I didnt do it myself...

I'm using EBC Yellows with no noise. Make sure you do a proper break-in with 60~70 to 10~20mph stops without coming to a complete stop. Do about 3~4 of them fairly aggressive. You might try that with the pads you have now before trying another brand.  One thing about the EBC pads, don't buy the Reds, just the Yellows. Reds don't have the heat tolerance that the heavy Cayenne can generate.

I got the Textar brakes because as I understood porsche OEM brakes are also made by Textar. So should be almost as OEM quality, and they are pretty expensive..

squealing is almost always due to poorly bedded pads.

 

glazed rotors and an uneven transfer layer will always squeal.

 

Bed them in....progressively faster stops to just above fully stopped.  By the end the brakes should feel faded from heat and probably stink/smoke.  Drive it around without stopping to ensure they cool back to operating temp.

 

i have this problem every time i swap back to my street pads on my track car because the pads are relatively hard/less cut on the rotor....going TO track pads is easy because they are much more aggressive and cut much more.
