So i pulled the trigger and bought my first boxster! I have an American car imported into Canada. The analogue cluster shows MPH. there is a digital readout for KMs per hour.

The temperature is in Fahrenheit, is there a way to have it display metric (Celsius)?

Posted

I can change the speedo by turn the clock set button to the left for 3 seconds, but the out side air temp is in imperial, id like to change it to metric.

It has to be possible, i can change the heating / AC between metric, and imperial, the outside air temp must be changeable.

That maybe able to be re-programmed with a Porsche PST2 or PIWIS tester  but the US and Canada did get clusters with separate part numbers (1997 to 2001).

It's like in the computer, you can only get mpg calculations and not metric. Unless I am wrong, which would be cool!

I am able to switch everything, including the computer, its the outside air temp that I can't switch.
