Hi all,

As per the title really, I have a 'new to me' 996 turbo with a potentially screwed set of clusters. I've found a decently priced set of GT2 clusters. Can I fit the Gt2 clusters into the turbo? My car is a 2001. The GT2 item sates 01-05 and part no. 9966412130570C. Not sure what my part number is.

If anyone can help I'd most appreciative.

Cheers,

Matt

Do both cars have the same transmission?

If so, it will likely work

Thanks Loren. You've been most helpful in this and my other related thread. Yep, both cars are manuals.

Another complication is that my car is Gulf specs as I'm in the Middle East. The cluster from the GT2 is for sale in the US. I don't think it's a US spec cluster though as the speedo (gauge not LCD readout) is in KMPH, the same as my Gulf spec car. Can't imagine this matters though!

996 641 215 05 70C is actually a Canadian cluster on the US/Canada price list and the it also shows as a RoW cluster on the RoW price list.

So it may be able to be programmed for your needs with a PST2 or PIWIS tester.
