What does this plug do in the engine bay?

I have a 1999 C4 Manual and found this plug (the smaller two prong with the green seal) not connected to anything when I was changing the oil fller tube.

Can anyone shed some light on what it should connect to?

Looks like the electrical connector for a changeover valve. There should be one above/to the left of the alternator. Or if the car ever had PSE then on the right next to the steering pump reservoir.

Thank you very much Dharn55, I'll have a look and see if it's the changeover valve as I doubt it ever had a PSE.
