Hello again!

Maybe some of you remember, i had the alternator replaced some time ago. This job is ok until now but...

From the day i take the car from the shop i had a kind of wobbling noise coming from the engine. I though it could be the water pump. I ask the mechanik and he told me the pump was ok.

What else it could be. I believe it must be related to the alternator job. Before i didnt have the noise.

Any advice is welcome. Thank you

I has to be something driven by the belt, so an idler or a pump (water, power steering, etc.).  You could try isolating it while the car idles, or pull the belt and try turning each component by hand to see if something makes noise.

You can have it right, with some alternators, the build-in water pump rattle (water cooled alternator, you know), the sound is the same as a defective engine water pump. In this case there is no other option than replace the alternator again.
