This has happened a couple times.. I've been driving on the highway then boom PSM failure comes on and I lose power. I pull over turn off and restart the CTT and a check engine light comes on, I pull off and it goes off 5 mins later.

Has happened three times, and only happens on the highway. And I don't really drive highway that much.

Any help would be appreciated.

Enzo, I'm assuming you're CTT is first Gen. If you haven't already, I'd look first to your battery (s) under front seat and potentially in back - some have a 2nd, mine did. I found batteries lasted about 3years in my first CTT until they started to cause wonky electrical issues such as PSM failure. The smallest drop in battery performance caused me all kinds of grief. After that it really could be a multitude of issues causing the message depending on the codes.

Cheers!

Yes, it's a 2004 CTT. And I just replaced battery 3 months ago, as like you, had a whole mass of headache from a bad battery. And I only have one. I'll have the codes ran and go from there.
