I am looking at a 2001 Boxster S (claimed as a Black Edition but which is acutally white with a blue interior) selling for $21k it has 36k miles on it.  That is about 10k higher than blue book but blue book dosen't have anything other than the S trim.  Is that a fair price?  Seller has done upgrades Borla exhaust, cold air intake, lights, and custom Porsche approved light surrounds and spoiler.....

Thanks

I'm not sure what you have here, the only "Black Edition" Boxsters I have seen were all 987's, and they were definitely all black.  They also had numbered dash plaques which told you what number they were in the edition sequence.

Here is the dash plaque from a real Black Edition:

Door sills:

And the cars were all black, even the wheels and exhaust tips.
