Hello everyone, I'm french and I am owner of a porsche 996 3.6 tiptronic 2002, I encounter a problem with the latter, when I drove to the cruise speed 130 kmh 5th suddenly stalled (as if I was stalled) while the light was left on was 5, I switch and restarts, I drive about 20 minutes and it starts again, I redid the manipulation 'and this again after 10 minutes, I tried one last time restart and the gearbox gets degraded mode "function tiptronic emergency" on the odb and seeing D and 4 flashing and put a make a noise like the noise of hydraulic ZZZZZZZ when I put the position D or R very large jolts, in short I do not insist and towed the car into the dealership nearest porsche, after of them must begin with a drain strainer + box and if the problem perssiste change the box. ..

some knowledge of mechanics we decided to make friends with the emptying of the box + Strainer change once the operation completed more noise at all! jolts are still present but much weaker, however the tiptronic emergency message is still present and the odb hard as seeing flashing D and 4, which is always prevented me shift gears and power thrash "normally "to test the vehicle. I think not putting enough oil here's how I did it:

- Once the old oil removed, clean housing and strainer change

- Fill the crankcase until overflow

- Starting the engine for ten minutes and then fill it again to top up with engine at stop,

-reboot the engine and passing different mode D, R, N, M

- And with extra new engine put out

I saw on the net that the procedure is engine running

currently it does a great impact?

forums talking about a net that escapes when it is full but I is not seen a drip fast enough.

specialist advice to BVA your help would be a great help to me! : love:

I was ready to buy a gearbox used guarantee a specialist porsche but I said that mine is just not be HS?

it also tells me the torque converter which apparently turns independently of the box, anyone know til the symptoms of HS converter?

thank you for your help

excuse me if my English is not very good
