First of all, Hi everyone and thanks for contributing (I'm new to the forums)...

I hooked up a Durametric cable to my boxster and got these fault codes. I've reset them a few times, but they seem to come back a few days later... any thoughts?

8004 Terminal 50

8050 Electronic steering column lock internal fault

C152 Communication PSM control unit (drive)

Any help is appreciated... are these all in a single harness somewhere that might have come loose?

Well, to add to the fun... the codes are gone... by themselves...

That makes me suspect a loose harness connection somewhere. I checked under the passenger seat, but didn't see any suspects. The steering code leads me to think that it must be in the dash, just wish I knew where to start.

But, hard to troubleshoot a problem that is gone. I'll let you know if it comes back in the next few days...
