Hi everyone. Just serviced my cayenne v6 2006 at home. Changed oil and filter and cleaned air filter....started it after that and it started up well....reversed it out and had my man Friday hose it down with a pressure washer....he hosed down the engine compartment also.....
Now I put in the ignition key and it says:
PSM failure workshop....it doesn't start...as soon as I insert the key and turn the ignition on the gear position indicator goes to D even though the car is in P. The gear indicator shows D irrespective of the position of the gear lever.
I connected Durametric and it shows tons of errors....DME 1314 is the fault code under Porsche stability management
And also under instrument cluster it shows fault code 1314....
Car is stuck in the driveway....
Everything else is working radio lights etc

PSM failures are pain in the ***. I had it several times when i take the vehicel to a car wash place. LOREN told me one time a possible reason could be that one of the Sensors get wet. Not only sensors are a possible place for your problems. Water influence at throttle body, Mass air flow sensors etc. I am not a professional but in my cases it always helped me when i did this:

Closed the car from outside with remote. Open it again. Key inside and switch on ONLY ignition. Leave it for about a minute. Key out. After start and in 8 of 10 times it was working with me
