Can I use a Mityvac to change my engine oil?

I was looking at getting a mityvac to change my oil in my Range Rover Sport and figured I could justify the purchase/space if it could do the 996tt as well. Considering there is no dipstick what do I do?

No dip stick, no Mity Vac. The oil tank drains super quick on the dry sump motors anyways, i guess it would just save you from having to crawl under car but then its just another fluid container to clean afterwards. I wonder if it would even save anytime in the long run.

I wouldn't buy one of these for any car with a dipstick. First, they do not get all old, dirty oil out of the sump. Second, there are a lot of sharp edged metal bits in most oiling systems (baffles, windage trays, etc.), and the soft flexible hose required to snake into the sump often gets caught on one or more of these, mandating flat bedding the car to the shop so they can pull the sump cover off to get it out. We have done more of these than I'd care to mention. Bad idea, all around.
